- The proprietor reserves the right to offer an alternative room to the one reserved, particularly if a flexible room has been reserved as a double bed, and a twin booking cannot be taken for this reason. The Duchess four-poster suite would always be honoured if reserved. Single room requests may receive a free upgrade to double in quieter periods.
- Cancellation Policy Whilst we do not take a deposit upon confirming a reservation, £25 per person will be debited from your card if your booking is cancelled. In the event of cancelling within 7 days of arrival we will do our utmost to re-let your room. However, if we are unable to do so we reserve the right to make a charge of 80% of the agreed price per night for a room left vacant.
Emails can go astray, so please confirm cancellations by telephone. We always urge all guests to insure themselves against cancellation.
- Payment methods We do accept debit and credit cards, but a 2% extra charge is payable. We accept cheques and cash, of course.
