Also has a flat screen LCD TV and DVD player and a front garden view from two windows. Overall, a wonderful sense of space and feeling of comfort. At a price of £75-90 per night for the room, a contender for the best value-for-money room in Derbyshire.
The Duke - Single

Serpentine

Comfy-cosy Serpentine is an en-suite double furnished in smart pine with a King-size bed, 2 comfortable armchairs, LCD Television and DVD player. Some of you might like to know that there is a twin-option here, thanks to a magically dividing bed and mattress. £60-75 per night for the room which overlooks the front garden and Grinlow woods.
The Rookery

This is a real B & B rarity: offering a single occupant a room with a 4’ 6” wide bed with a single room price tag. Also generous space for 2 people. Once inside you’ll find you have lots of room to spread out. The Rookery contains a very tasteful bathroom en-suite, a settee, a TV and some useful desk space by the window. You also overlook Grinlow and the garden front, and yes, there are rooks! Again, fantastic value at £38-45 for single occupancy, £60-£70 for double.
Duke and Duchess Triple suite
Those travelling as a 3 can opt for our Duke and Duchess rooms, the Duke occupant would have their own washbasin and WC with direct access to the shower and bath rooms of The Duchess. The price is only £100-£120.
The “Duke Double”
Travelling in two but sleeping separately? An arrangement worth considering is to take The Duke single and a double. Here you’d pay for the cost of 2 in the double, add £5 for The Duke. Taking the Duke and Rookery together works here too, Rookery price + £25
